Deal Desk Shared Bot: check non-standard terms against policy, triage rep Slack requests, stamp every approval with rationale and DRI
What it does
When a quote needs special pricing or non-standard contract terms, SpaceXSI's Quote Bot hands it to Deal Bot, which supports the Deal Desk team. Deal Bot checks requests against approved policies and contract language and prepares the changes needed to move the deal forward. It monitors and triages rep requests in Slack, routes each one to the right cross-functional owner or approver, and checks whether Legal has already drafted similar terms. For decisions that need human judgment, it prepares a recommendation for a Deal Desk specialist to approve. Every Salesforce approval it processes is stamped with the decision, the rationale, and the DRI it was supporting.
